Sunningdale Hotel Bedrooms
The Sunningdale has 21 en-suite bedrooms, all of which are comfortably furnished and include colour televisions and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries.
We have double rooms, twin rooms and single rooms, and a range of family rooms to cater for families of 3, 4 or 5 people. We can also provide cots where required.

Bedrooms in The Sunningdale are situated across three floors, with 3 ground floor rooms including a suite, plus first and second floor rooms.
Our ground floor suite is a double room with private conservatory style seating area, large walk in shower room and digital television. It benefits from superb afternoon sunshine in the seating area, and with comfortable chairs is the perfect place to relax and refresh for the evening. The room is suitable for guests in a wheelchair with assistance from a companion.
We now have a superb premier double room, refurbished and opened in October 2010. It is a top floor room and has been refurbished in a boutique style with top quality furnishings. The room has stunning views of Bamburgh Church and the coast.
Britain’s Best View!
Bamburgh Castle was voted runner up (2nd place) in 2009 on the BBC programme Britain’s Best View. The Sunningdale Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Bamburgh village so quite high, and although still just a two minute walk from the centre, most of our rooms benefit from some of the best views of Bamburgh Village, the coast and across to other local attractions such as Seahouses, Holy Island, Beadnell and Dunstanburgh Castle.
Our location also offers guests a quiet and peaceful location to base their holiday, still within easy walk of Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh Village and the stunning beach.
We are a dog friendly hotel, giving dog lovers the chance to enjoy the superb walking possibilities of Northumberland (some rooms are not available for dogs).
